Welcoming a new beginning....

Song of the day:
"It's Beginning To Get To Me"
Snow Patrol

Finally, Kevlinefm has return to the blogging world!

Cheers and Hurrays! I'm honoured to be back though, especially after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

It's been a "long" 2007 till now due to the number of events in the past month.

And now I'm blogging on a completely new platform!

Okay, I'm not exactly entirely new to this site though.

It has been created for months now and after a series of testing and experiments, I decided to switch to blogspot which provides better personal customize options.

Hail Blogspot! Hail!

That would surely spell the end of my blog on Window Live Spaces.

To begin this blog with a bang, I've added several elements to it which I've been longing to insert.

Firstly, the imeem player. It is so awesome as I previously visualized that I would have my Hot Tracks placed on a embedded music player on my blog.

Now it has been fulfilled! All thanks to imeem.

Next up it's the clip player. With me loving Arsenal goals and music videos all the time, this section would feature cool music videos and wonderful Arsenal goals of course!

"Another happy customer" as I would say to myself. Lol!

As I write this blog entry, I realise that time is ticking off for the arrival of the new lunar year.

I remembered that my last blog on Windows Live Spaces was about the end of 2006.

This time around, the first blog on my new blog would signal the end of another incredible lunar year, which of course started last February till now.

2007 is slowly becoming another meaningful year.

Just by looking at January, I've experienced so many wonderful moments, Arsenal-wise and Kevlinefm-wise. Lol.

Just look at the charts below. Arsenal are in 3 finals, of course this comprises of Arsenal Ladies.

Of course, Arsenal have started the year with a bang, where Charlton Athletic were whipped 4-0 at the Emirates. In the same week, FA Cup was opened to big teams of EPL and the fortunate unfortunate Arsenal had to play against Liverpool at Anfield. Who came out the victors? Of course, it was Arsenal. Rosicky stole the show with 2 goals while Henry signalled his return to the FA Cup by beating the holders.

:: "Charlton owned!" pointed Henry ::

Beaten in the first hurdle, Liverpool had a chance to redeem themselves but was again humiliated. How? Arsenal fielded a superb reserve team to compete against the majority-first-teamers Liverpool. The end result was: Baptista scored 4 and Arsenal became the first team in don't-know-how-many-decades to beat Liverpool at Anfield with 6 goals.

:: Baptista listening to the silence of Liverpool ::

Arsenal also did a 2-0 at Blackburn with only 10 men while Manchester United were humiliated by King Henry's last minute goal which of course sent the whole world an alarm of what the real Arsenal are.

:: Fergie has to concede defeat this time around. Arsenal rocks! ::

The "B" team of Arsenal did not fail too at White Hart Lane as the Seven Sisters Road players were shell-shocked after having a 2-0 lead having to succumb to a 2-2 draw with Baptista scoring a hat-trick at the Lane (of course one was generously scored for Spurs).

FA Cup resumed again for the 4th Round, with Bolton luckily drawn against the Gunners. Arsenal had to play their "bogey" team at the Emirates but home luck did not come as the Wanderers scored first. But the Emirates is already a fortress and so Toure had a chance to take the replay to the cursed Reebok Stadium...

Part 2 of the North London derby saw Spurs taking the game to extra time after Mido's late equaliser which replied Adebayor's 77th minute opener. A Ricard Rocha error was enough for Aliadiere to capitalise it while Rosicky humiliated Chimbonda by forcing him to score for Arsenal. The game ended at 3-1 and Arsenal would feature at Cardiff for the League Cup final.

:: Isn't Rosicky sooooooooo cute with his superb celebration, esp against Spurs? ::

The unexpected occured as Arsenal were red-carded once more but were unlucky to return from the Riverside for a win. 1-1 at Boro. Wigan was next on Arsenal's Emirates list but the visitors had every intention to crash the record. Denny Landzaat scored a superb rocket but time-wasting on Wigan's part turned against them, causing Arsenal to snatch two late goals.

:: Denilson was so happy that Bolton were killed by Arsenal! ::

Just only the past Wednesday that Arsenal won the replay against Bolton Wanderers. Unfortunately, Arsenal made themselves difficult as they squandered numerous chances including a penalty by Gilberto to put the game to bed at full time. Instead Arsenal managed to see the return of the true Freddie Ljungberg who scored a superb goal after receiving an Aliadiere pass. The 3rd was of course to humiliate Bolton. Lol! Watch the clip I've uploaded and you'll understand why.

Oh ya, Arsenal FC were invited to Queen Elizabeth's Buckingham Palace for tea. Hehe... I've tonnes' of pictures (not exactly tonnes la) to show you guys. Lol!

:: The 4 Frenchies - Diaby, Henry, Aliadiere, Gallas (From left to right) ::

:: Arsenal players were so smartly dressed! Djourou was smart! Lol! ::

:: "Cheeeeeeseeeee" by all MIBs in the pics ::

:: Hleb, Cesc and Almunia posing man-ly in da Palace! ::

:: A wonderful wonderful palace indeed. Arsenal players are so lucky. ::

:: All the Arsenal guys paying attention... Serious attention ::

:: Flamini and Rosicky seemed to enjoy the English tea. ::

:: Freddie, Freddie drinking tea... ::

:: VVIP: The Queen, Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood, and Arsene Wenger ::

:: Even the Queen fell for Wenger's charm. Yes? No? Hmm... ::

:: King of Highbury introduced Hleb to the Queen of England ::

:: The Queen must be delighted watching soooo many "international" players. Hehe ::

Personal-wise, I've learnt a lot too during the month.

My first major task was to host Golden Key UTM's new member reception.

Boy I was damn nervous being an emcee. Not easy. Nervous. Mind-cracking!

I'm not a person who's good at wordplay. Nor am I a joker. But I pulled through!

Hehe... Whatever the situation it was a superb event where I've managed to know new members and work with my committee members.

Another event was on show in that month too as Golden Key had their community service project at Seri Kenangan.

It came as a surprise visit for me because I wasn't expecting to go due to personal reasons.

However, I ended up there as I've to pick up our regional director, Mr. Jimmy Teo to the venue.

To my surprise, Seri Kenangan was a superb place for the old folks. Definitely lotsa happy old folks around. I had a chat with some of the old folks and was definitely honoured to see them performing music.

What I didn't really expect was that I had so much fun dancing with them, enjoying the real fun at the stage. The kinda joy was difficult to describe. No doubt, difficult to describe. I was damn happy.

I left early that day but the moment of joy was still fresh in my mind. Hehe...

As I write on, I realise that I've spent almost an hour blogging.

To cut things short, as the new year arrives, I wish everybody a superb superb new year ahead.
Not forgetting my roots, I would post some Chinese words in this blog entry.

凯文在此祝个位朋友及我部落格探访者新年快乐,万事如意,猪年行大运,身体建康。
(Kelvin wishes every friend of mine and my blog visitors a happy CNY, good luck in everything, good luck in the Year of Pig and good health!)

Enjoy the new stuff that I've put in and I'll be back soon enough! Tata!
