What a relief, but it's not gonna stop!

Song of the day:
Rob Thomas
"Little Wonders"

Woohoo!

Finally, I'm able to get a real sufficient rest...

But not for long.. Sigh~...

Anyway, my industrial training starts next week.

So it's a mere few days to rest.

BUT!

But, I am able to enjoy Arsenal for the first time this season, without any pressure.

I told Wei Jie about this too on MSN...

No doubt, nothing can stop me watching my beloved team playing against Fulham...

I'm hoping for a big win that would be a great revenge on Fulham...

So, the American takeover hasn't happened yet, but there are lotsa speculation and conspiracy theories behind the scenes...

Theories, discussions, debate... Non stop on major Arsenal fans forums and websites...

My opinion on this matter is that... the American won't ruin Arsenal, contrary to the belief of the majority of people.

I firmly believe this takeover would be much different compared to the Liverpool and Man U's, mainly because of Stan's recognition in the sports business in America.

And I firmly believe Wenger needs funds to buy suitable (not necessarily big name) players and the current board of directors seem unlikely to want to give that.

Also, with the transfer window near to its reopening stages, Arsenal are linked to so many players that I almost lose track of the number of them...

One I can reassure you is that Wenger will still buy youngsters.

Earlier today, I read on Triballfootball (not reliable, but readable though) that Dein's departure might jeopardise the Arsenal-Salamanca technical relationship.

This is not a small matter as Salamanca might hold the key for Arsenal to import South American talents.

Carlos Vela, the young Mexican striker, is currently on-loan at Salamanca to get the necessary EU passport in order to play for Arsenal.

It's a fact that young South American players need to get a necessary EU passport before being able to play in England (due to the rules in England).

We've also read about Wenger wanting to buy players such as Petr Cech, Ronaldinho when they were young but couldn't because of the rules in England.

So, Arsenal should take this Salamanca matter very seriously as it could influence the development of Arsenal in the future too.

And all we know in the past few days is that Dein has gone to America on a possible takeover trip, but Dein was quoted to be on a holiday trip with his wife to USA.

If Dein does visit Stan Kroenke and plans a takeover with Stan, then it's inevitable that the takeover could be realised.

There are some points that can be seen clearly:

1. Stan Kroenke wouldn't buy shares and only get a place in the Arsenal boardroom. He might wanna own Arsenal.

2. The reason to 1. is because of the "potential in the soccer business", as mentioned by the American himself.

3. Stan has recently been quoted as saying that he was "unimpressed" by current Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood's taunts. Stan might tell himself that Peter Hill-Wood is definitely an old school fella.

What's gonna happen next? Who knows?

But I hope that the outcome of this matter would benefit Arsenal, Wenger and the team.

Wenger might not need large funds, but he WILL get sufficient funds to buy suitable players whom he needs if Stan comes in.

And I hope Stan would see Wenger as a respectable manager, not a manager who can be controlled and put aside or sacked when the going gets tough.

Lol...

I suddenly vomit a large amount of crap on my blog. Lol!

Sorry for my rant, but this is the only major stuff in my head in real life.

Anyway, my exams have ended and I only have one regret, which was the fact that I flunked my Control paper. Lol.

The others were more or less "kacang". There's one paper that the whole paper was leaked.

That's Malaysian "world-class" university.

Spiderman 3 is around the corner and I'm definitely looking forward to watching Kirsten Dunst, the cutie pie, again!

Cool poster!

As people say, "Revenge would consume a person".

Hopefully Spiderman 3 won't disappoint me, who has waited for a great movie to watch for months!

David Dein has left, but....

Song of the day:
Linkin Park
"Pushing Me Away"

OMG.

A lot have happened in the last 24 hours.

Only this afternoon that I read about the Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood declaring that he and some other board of directors are hanging onto their shares.

But he also stated that David Dein wasn't with them.

David Dein

This means that David Dein wanted to be on Kroenke's side and supported the idea of the American takeover.

At that time, I thought that was pretty amusing, considering the fact that David Dein is a great supporter of the club.

But somehow, I realise a few things that have been going on with the club for a few years.

One, David Dein is the only person who does lots of things for Arsenal and football.

He is the one who brought Wenger to Arsenal.

He is the one who represented Arsenal in the FA.

He is the one who's responsible for so many of Wenger's transfers, i.e. Vieira, Campbell, Reyes etc.

Just to conclude, he is the only member of the Board of Director who really contributed a lot on and off the football field other than staying in his office or sitting in his executive box at any of Arsenal's stadium for a few decades.

Sigh.

Now he's gone, but many sides have speculated that David Dein WILL return in quick sucession.

David Dein IS a big fan of Arsenal.

And this is why he works his socks off for Arsenal.

There are speculations and rumours that David Dein WILL combine powers with Stanley Kroenke to launch a takeover of Arsenal.

If this is true, I want it to be fast rather than slow.

This kinda thing will bring instability to the club if it is prolonged.

And for the sake of the club, we need the goddamn funds to help Wenger buy big talents.

The funds that Wenger has at the moment is a combination of wages and transfer funds, which in my opinion, is definitely insufficient for Benitez, Ferguson and Mourinho in order to compete in the league.

But this is what Wenger has for so many years and yet he survived all these commercial and economic stupidity in football.

One cannot help but sympathize Wenger for his situation.

However, Wenger adapted to it and instead went for the "Grow Your Own Talent" method, which the fans have applauded for a few years running, but which is also fast gaining disapproval or frustration from the Arsenal fans.

It's been a while Wenger has brought in any wonderful BIG talents (mind you not wonderful young talents).

Fans have been waiting for players such as Ribery, Robinho or any other BIG talent but they are forced to wait until now.

Sigh...

Anyway, I'm somehow frustrated by the Arsenal board's inability to provide more funds to Wenger.

Stanley Kroenke

And that is why fans have slowly starting to support Kroenke's takeover.

If the American does takeover the club, I surely want David Dein to be the chairman of the club.

He's the most appropriate person to take the place!!!

I do believe that David Dein WILL come back.

Hit the floor.../ Breaking the habit...

Song of the day:
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
"Face Down"

Haha...

The title sounds Linkin Park-ish? Let me explain...

Why "Hit the floor"? This one is easy...

'Cause my semester is finally over and I'll be heading to Industrial Training or LI (as we call it in UTM).

So hit the floor first before the floor hits you...

Why "Breaking the habit"?

The "one blog entry per month" concept is broken with the entrance of this blog entry.

Lol...

So, my busy weeks have ended.

Assignments have left me. Hurray, damn them for ruining my life.

However, I think I've enjoyed this sem more than other sem.

It's weird for me to say that 'cause I usually dislike life in UTM, but it's true.

The lab stuff, the lecture schedule... Pretty relaxing...

And this is the only semester that I slack at almost 100%. Hehe...

I've also learnt something that I wanted to do for quite some time...

SCUBA DIVING!

I still haven't got the license yet (I din take the full course), but I vow to obtain the lesson at some point of time...

And I got my scuba pictures from Vincent (my scuba diving group) yesterday. I'll upload here and on friendster later.

Talking about slacking, my friend urges me to go out more often.

But tbh, I don't really see the point of doing that.

'Cause I don't have much to do while hanging out, just plain walking and seeing.

It is damn boring you know doing those stuff everytime ppl hangout...

Lol...

清明节 is supposed to be on Thursday, but many ppl have taken the chance to do the related stuff on last weekends and this weekend.

I've joined my family to Nirvana Memorial Park, Senai to visit my uncle's urn and did the necessary stuff.

I've taken tonnes of pictures and I'll upload it here later also.

It was a pretty shocking environment, contrary to the peaceful surroundings there.

The "Malaysian" mentality is always the factor that ruins beautiful things.

You'll know what I mean. Lol...

Sigh, UTM-wise, I din manage to get the residential college that I prefer.

So at this moment, I'm waiting for ppl to get their arses out of the college next sem so that I'll get my arse into the preferred college.

Lol...

My life is a bit monotonous in the past 2 days...

And oh ya, happy belated birthday to Auntie! Err, Siang Ling! Hehe...

My bro's birthday is around the corner too... So as my room mate's!

Oh God...

Okok, I'll have to stop here. Picture galore in the next entry!

Anger takes me over for the first time in 2007!

Song of the day:
Daughtry
"What About Now?"

Ya, the title says it all.

I am very very angry.

Angry about Arsenal's "superb" loss to Liverpool.

I am fed up with Arsenal's problems.

Yesterday I thought that if Arsenal lost, I don't mind.

But the scoreline made Arsenal lost humiliatingly! (F**k cares the existence of such word).

What the hell??!! 4-1?

Wenger, please wake up. Your team obviously lacks something special.

Solve the injury problems. Solve the attacking options.

Buy worthy experience and talent for f**king sake.

Sigh.

I won't be satisfied if Wenger still says, "I think there's a lot of potential and I firmly believe that blah blah blah..." stuff.

Mr. Wenger, fans have been waiting for a world-class/big name signing for years.

Sign a big name signing and lift the club up to a whole new level.

Your youngsters won't learn if you keep buying youngsters without providing experience for them to model upon.

You let Pires, Vieira go too easily and it's 100% DEFINITELY YOUR BAD!

And hours ago, when I listen to a song, the lyrics of the song suits the whole situation.

Wenger, "What About Now?"
